The GSNDS bandwagon rolled merrily along yesterday with a comfortable thrashing of the Summer Hill Doshies. The Doshies elected to bat first, and while they looked ok against the new ball, they struggled to find the boundary and were struggling at 2/22, with wickets to Soli and Marty. They then accelerated a little, but gave away far too many easy catches, and things were looking dire for them at 5/58. It only got worse afterwards though, as they lost 3/0, and with only 8 players, that set a pretty small total for us to chase.
That total was made to look comically small, as Charlie went berserk, racking up 30 off 10 scoring shots, falling with the end in sight, as Dan and Dave brought us home with just the 28 overs to spare. Good start to 9ths.
