The 9ths took the knives to St Ives (sorry), ruthlessly dispatching the worst team in the grade with 15 overs to spare. Soli, Jimbo and then Marty ripped through them in the morning session, holding them to 106 off 30 overs. Then Jimbo became the 7th ever Gladstone to score 2000 career runs, going on with it to score an unbeaten 43. Just the kind of form you cant to take into a layoff that will last until, say, Rd 2 of summer comp.
So, congrats to all, both teams made the semi finals.
