It sounds like the Gladdies put in a very brave effort in our third encounter with Coogee Bay, but unfortunately, they did get the better of us, ending our season in that grade. We put on a good show with the bat, with Jimmy knocking up another 50, with Banjo, Dave and Simon providing solid support. Even on MP6, 203 is nothing to be sneezed at. The bowlers also put in a solid effort, with Jimbo, Simon and Lach all getting wickets, and we managed to hold them out for an excellent 34 overs, but they did get there in end. Bad luck chaps.
