Well, who doesn’t like a drive out to Liverpool to play a little cricket, stand around in the rain, and then drive home again with no result? No Gladstones I know, because that’s exactly what happened. We got to 4/84 with Griffiths and Grimm looking pretty good after a slow start before the heavens opened, and while it did ease off after 45 minutes, the high likelihood of further rain meant we called it at that point. Meh.
So, one final regular season round to register another win. I’m not going to lie, the crushing two bye format has left it nigh on impossible for us to make the semis.
